Further Google Teacher Academy (#GTAUK) thoughts…
Like all attendees to the 1st Google Teacher Academy, I’ve had quite a bit of time (mainly during the middle of the night!) to think through all that I saw, heard, learned and experienced on Thursday 29th July.
I’m keep to get my action plan sorted this week so I can go on holiday and relax so I am now beginning to identify areas that I can tackle quickly and in what order.
Here’s a rough outline to what will be tackled and in what order – subject to discussion with my Headteacher.
1. Google Calendar – Class/Staff/Governor Calendars
2. Google Forms – Collecting/presenting data from stakeholders
2. Google Teaching tools – Search, Google Earth/Maps/Streetview
3. Google Apps – Spreadsheets/Presentation/Docs
That’s as far as I have got! I plan to chat to as many people as I can before September and use all the #gtauk contacts that I have to make this add to the already very high quality and value HeathfieldCPS offer to its pupils and community.
